If they have blocked websites and what not its for a reason. If you go around what they have set they WILL know about it and can fire you on the spot for improper use of work time (or something similar). BTW...all the programs that restrict you access to whatever are installed as in administrator so the only way to get around them is to log in as an admin (unless it's blocked by the firewall, then there's no way you can get access to it unless you log into the firewall).

I dont think they know what they're blocking.
I think its a keyword thing because if I try to
get on and price some nuts & bolts it says access
denied. Trust me I klnow the tech guy he doesn't have a clue.
Is their away to turn www into A IP that way its the ip and not the keyword.

Use a proxy:

I can't use that one anymore because they blocked it here :D

Likely is still a firewall block. I'd say, you better just figure on having to work, while your at work... ;)

Nah man just try to find another proxy ;-). Preferably one that doesn't have "proxy" in the URL. You might need to find one that doesn't pass the URL as a GET query string, as you might have some keyword blockers in action (i.e. any URL containing "battlefield" could be blocked).

I don't understand GH. What the hell do you do at work? I mean, what is your occupation?

The work is very sporatic I don't actually have to be on the floor
all the time. I work in a manufacturing plant I've been here for 5yrs
and always had the shit jobs wharehouse, machine fixer, chemical
preparer(that really sucked) and now I finally landed this cushy
desk job in a office with a cubicle and the whole nine yards.
So I plan to milk it for all its worth. I have a nice boss next door
who really doesnt give damn what I do as long any assignment he gives me I complete in a timely manner.
