Armory COD4 Servers?

Long time player on your 2142 server, first time caller...Gamb, Gadfry and Griiimeh joined the COD4 server I was playing in the other night and I thought to myself "oh God, they followed me all the way to a totally random COD4 server just to humiliate me some more". They joined my side, so that put my mind at ease and I asked if you folks are going to have a COD4 server.

Just wondering the status, as your 2142 servers were gold, Jerry, gold. I enjoyed playing 2142 with the Armory and look forward to COD4. Thanks..

Nevermind, I found it...any chance at throwing in a few Sabatage and Search and Destroy maps? The Sabatage mode is like flagball of Halo/BHD games and is actually a lot of fun :banana:

Glad to hear you like our servers. We always like to hear good stuff like that. It's a long story, but we have a Linux server to run Battlefield 2142, and COD4 only runs on Windows servers only. Because of this, we had to rent a temporary COD4 server in Califorina (so if you ping is high, this is only temporary) until we can get our Dallas server configured provisioned to Windows so we can host COD4.

So, in a week or so, we will have our dedicated server in Dallas, TX, converted to a Windows OS. Once up and running, we will then host two (2) COD4 servers. One with Domination only maps server, and another with a variety of gametypes. We will keep ya posted. :D

Remember, our City server is still alive and well, so stop by when you get a chance.

Hey Donkey! good to see that you made it to the forums. I'll still be playing bf2142 and a little COD4 and quake wars. Get on xfire or request ventrilo access.

oh and gadfry wasn't on the cod4 server. he's awaiting his new computer cuz his old one is like a 286 or something and he can't run anything on it.

hey donkey, glad to see you around here. as gamb says, my computer is a step up from a pentium pro, so i'm still stuck playing bf2142 until my new comp comes wednesday.

Thanks guys. Did you ever get a server going with other game types, like Sabatage? That's an awesome game mode. Anyway, just wondering. My buddy and I should be playing there this week.

PS - I will just pretend that I don't see that avatar Gadfry. Coming from a Trojan family, well, you know...
