Ultimate mod

For college, I dont get a car or anything so I get a computer. Basically a cart blanche to make the ultimate PC, spare no expense. I want to mod this thing up real good, make something truly awesome and original. The only prerequisite is that it must somehow accomadate a liquid/air cooling system. I dont want to look into any specific hardware at the moment (it will be outdated by the time i go to college next year anyway), I just want to get started on the case. However, I need ideas and knowhow. Please give me any mod ideas you have and I will feed in my own. Hopefully with some help I will be able to design this ultimate modded case. Think of it as a One teamed, Junkyard Wars for PC, no holds barred.

As of right now my main 3 ideas are as follows:

an aluminum briefcas holding my PC components
an industrial themed case with gratings and the vague look of a steam engine
A surplus military ammo container rigged to be a PC case

if ur looking in building a comp i go to a site www.harddrive.com and buy parts u can get the water cooling system windows fans everything u need to build one, and most of the stuff is the top of the line so it won't be outdated by next yr. its also been rated one of the best pc sites by pc gamer mag.

make sure you have a good PS (power supply),,this is a good start for any mod ,i suggest mabe a 500 to 600 watt PS this will give you all the power you will ever need and it won't be outdated next year 8)

Definitely, ill most likely need 500 watts anyway based off how im going to pimp out my rig :)

I know you said you weren't looking for specific hardware or anything, but I found a quality case if you need something to start on. Plus, it's only 40 bucks. Clicky here (http://www.directron.com/fs313.html). It's the one I have too so I'm a bit biased :?

well you could also do what i did for my 7 yr old niece take a standard frame and make a case out of legos :P

TAKE A REALLY BIG AIR CONDITIONER.

PUT A SMALLER ONE INSIDE THE CASE OF THE A/C UNIT

MOUNT MOBO, ETC ETC INSIDE.

COOL DORM ROOM AS WELL AS COMPUTER.

Excellent Ideas guys, keep em coming. I tried a lego case once, still have the pieces lying around....
I like yours Mac, though I actually might be getting one of those really high end special kryo vapochill cooling doohickeys so i dunno, is teh AC unit redundant?
