mesenger service those annoying popups. I need help

everyhour several of these stupid popups come and boot me out of my games, it is annoying very annoying and I need to know how to stop them. hopfully someone here does

go to google and seach for the website they give you.
dont go to that web site but you should get some support forums telling you how to disable it.
ATM I can't remember how to do it but that should help.

You can stop (and disable) the Messenger-Service. This should stop the pop-up's.

If you have a Router, you can add a filter for the Port 135 to disable the messages... but this is one of the NetBIOS-Ports. You can't make any NetBIOS Session via Internet anymore when you filter this port.

Ok, then the best you can made is disable the Messenger-Service... if it's a single Workstation you don't need it:

Open an Explorer-Window
Right-click the 'My Computer' Icon -> choose 'Manage'
Select 'Services and Applications' then 'Services'
Right-click 'Messenger' -> choose 'Properties'
Click on 'Stop' and select on 'Startup type' -> 'disable'
